BE-TO Sisak

High-efficiency cogeneration on forest biomass fuel. Primary purpose is district heating for the city of Sisak plus technological steam for industrial consumers. A new heating main (vrelovod) was built from a new heat station at the plant to the existing heat stations in the Caprag and Brzaj districts. Sited next to the existing Energana at the former Sisak Ironworks (Željezara). Has povlašteni proizvođač (privileged/subsidised producer) status with a guaranteed feed-in tariff for 14 years -- unlike VE Korlat, which explicitly does not. Built 2017, use permit obtained 2018. Build cost (BuildCostEur) left blank -- HEP only publishes a combined EUR 35M figure for both BE-TO Osijek + BE-TO Sisak together, never split per plant, so a per-plant number here would be a fabricated 50/50 guess.
