Croatia's LARGEST wind farm, 39x Shanghai Electric W4000-136 turbines (4.0 MW each, rotor diameter 136m per model name -- cross-confirmed by hr.wikipedia.org's wind-farm table AND wind-turbine-models.com's independent turbine database; hub height not found in any source checked). 29 turbines in the City of Senj, 10 in the Municipality of Brinje, spanning ~60-65 km2 of Velebit foothills, Lika-Senj County. Planned annual production 530 GWh/yr (MonthlyMwh = 530,000/12 = 44,166.67), ~3.5% of Croatia's total electricity production. Grid-connected/trial operation from December 2021; obtained its license to switch from trial to full regular/commercial operation only in October 2024 (matches the HOPS "in operation since 2024" figure used here as CommissionYear). Croatia's first major Chinese investment: built and majority-owned (76%) by Norinco International Cooperation Ltd. (a Chinese state-owned company, otherwise a major arms manufacturer) via the Senj-based project company Energija projekt d.d. (OIB 97312497377, HR-53270 Senj) -- the remaining 24% is held by a named individual, Ana Džombić. Total investment cost reported as ~EUR 200 million (tportal.hr, used as BuildCostEur here) vs. a separately- cited ~EUR 230 million figure in other press summaries -- kept as a noted discrepancy, not resolved either way; NOTE this is distinct from the separately-reported EUR 32 million Norinco paid specifically for its 76% equity stake in Energija projekt d.d. (a share-purchase price, not a construction-cost figure). CAUTION: a separate, older, smaller "Vjetroelektrana Vrataruša" project (42 MW, 14x Vestas V90 3MW, operational since 2010) sits immediately adjacent/overlapping in the same Velebit-foothills area near Senj and is NOT this plant -- already a separate unmatched dbo.Hrote row per this project's own records; confirmed via Vrataruša's own dedicated Wikipedia page that the two are legally and physically distinct projects, and its coordinates were NOT used here. Coordinate is thewindpower.net's own entry for this project specifically (their "Part #1" of a two-part Senj-area listing, 156 MW/Shanghai Electric -- explicitly distinguished from their "Part #2," which is Vrataruša's 42 MW/Vestas entry), marked "Precise localization: Confirmed" -- CoordPrecision=Exact per the same standard already applied to Rudine in migration 048.
