CHE Fužine

Reversible pumping derivation plant near Fuzine, by the Bajer accumulation lake, part of the HE Vinodol water supply system. 4.5 MW generating / -6.5 MW pumping (CapacityKw uses the generating-mode figure). 1 triple unit: a Francis turbine driving a generator, plus a centrifugal pump on the same generator in motor mode. Gross head 23-59m (created by the Lokvarka embankment dam). Pumps surplus Licanka river water into Lokvarka lake (34.82 hm3 useful volume), partially regulating the Licanka's flow. Average annual production ~2.89 GWh. Revitalized 2017. Part of "HE Gorski kotar" (with RHE Lepenica and HE Zeleni vir), under GHE Vinodol / Centar proizvodnje Zapad.
