HE Zakučac

High-head reservoir derivation plant on the Cetina at Omis, part of GHE Zakucac -- HEP's largest hydro plant. 4 Francis units, 576 MW nameplate but only 538 MW commercially available due to a headrace-tunnel bottleneck (2 tunnels, 100m3/s + 120m3/s capacity, vs. 4x60 m3/s the turbines could otherwise draw). Fed by the Prancevici derivation lake (dam 35m high, 6.8 hm3) upstream, which MHE Prancevici also draws from. Original units 1961/1962, further units 1979/1980, revitalized 2012-2017.
